Clean Your Frame

Thoroughly clean your frame with bike detergent and an alcohol wipe / spray, then allow to dry completely before fitting the Frameguard.

2

Open the Box

You will find the moulded Frameguard with 4 selfadhesive fastening tabs already mounted. Do not take off the backer from the tabs just yet.

3

Bend the Frameguard

Inside the polymer Frameguard is a metal reinforcing insert. This helps you bend the Frameguard to fit the shape of your frame. Do this with your tabs still in place.

4

Peel Off Backers

Bring the Frameguard to the frame and press lightly so that the tabs make a light tack to the frame. Undo the Velcro straps and pull the Frameguard away, leaving the tabs fastened to the frame.

5

Fix the Tabs to the Frame

Press the tabs firmly all over so that they bend to the shape of your frame (some eBike frames will be almost flat and some conventional alloy tubes will be quite curved), so that the adhesive makes a proper bond.

6

Attach the Frameguard

You will find the moulded Frameguard with 4 selfadhesive fastening tabs already mounted. Do not take off the backer from the tabs just yet.

1

First Bead

1. Put the first bead onto your rim as normal.

2

Locate your Valve

Locate your valve and place any of the
holes on your RockstopĀ© over it.

3

Feed Rockstop Around the Rim

Feed the RockstopĀ© around the rim and stretch it over - it will start to get tight on the last section.

4

Place Notches

Once in place, ensure the notches underneath RockstopĀ© are sitting in the centre channel of the rim.

5

Work First Bead

Work the already positioned bead underneath the RockstopĀ©, so that it is seated correctly. This also allows some slack on the tyre, ready for the second bead.

6

Place Second Bead

Put the second bead on and work it underneath RockstopĀ© as before.

7

Ensure Rockstop is Evenly Placed

Once your tyre is on, flatten the top of the tyre all the way around to ensure RockstopĀ© is sitting evenly in place. This also pushes the outside beads of the tyre into position ready to inflate.
